Our incredible journey began nearly a decade ago when we crossed paths in the Philippines. Back then, I was pursuing my dream of becoming a dental hygienist. After completing my studies, we embarked on a new chapter in Australia together.
My partner Ribel is an extraordinary chef with a deep-rooted passion for culinary artistry. His culinary voyage began during his high school days, and he first ventured to Australia in 2014 on a working holiday visa, instantly captivated by this beautiful country.
Ribel honed his skills at the renowned ATTICA restaurant in Melbourne, a distinguished three-hatted establishment, where he absorbed invaluable expertise from some of Australia's most esteemed chefs. Following his enriching tenure in Melbourne, Ribel sought further experience and joined the team at Akiba in Canberra, then a one-hat restaurant, to continue his culinary exploration.
After gaining diverse experiences in Melbourne and Canberra, Ribel secured sponsorship in Mackay, which brought us closer to realising our shared dream of owning our own restaurant. We have always cherished the dream of creating a space where we can share our love for Korean cuisine with our local community.
We look forward to sharing our passion for food with everyone in the district.
